Alan led the inaugural Community Conversation, at H.Y.P. Studio in Wellesley, MA. This was done in partnership with Debra Goodman, the owner of the studio. The talk, Mindful Strategies for Helping Students & Families Cope With Stress, was followed by a free one hour Yoga class.
Due to the response from the first workshop, Alan did a second Community Conversation, The Power of Curiosity & Mindfulness in Dealing With School-Related Stress. This event was also well received and attended.

Rick Brutti, founder of the UR Business Network, and an internet radio show called MYOB (Mind Your Own Business), did an interview with Alan that aired on his show.
Alan has also led presentations for a parents organization in Westborough, SEPAC, the Special Education Parents Advisory Council. The summary is here. He conducted a similar presentation for the Bedford, MA SEPAC as well.
